May Goals Recap + My June Goals + Summer Goals

Hello. Today is May 31st. What does that mean? Well, it means that my birthday is tomorrow!!! Lol. I am so excited. But on to more current news, I have come bearing news of my May goals and what's what with them.

So, my goals for May were to (1)baggy with every wash and (2)moisturize my ends nightly. Let's start with moisturizing. I moisturized my ends with two types of moisturizer: oil and water based. Sometimes I would just grab a bottle, not really looking at which one it was and would just moisturize. I can truly say that I stuck to this goal. My ends thank me for it, because during this last stretch, I retained my length according to my most recent relaxer.

As far as me baggying before or on every wash day, that was a big FAIL. I couldn't remember to baggy before wash days. I would have already shampoo'ed and then it would come to me to baggy. I did baggy my DC's, but my goal was to baggy the pre-poo's. In the month of May, the total amount of times that I baggyed before a wash was one. Lol. Horrible numbers, right?! HOWEVER, I would find myself baggying my hair once to two times a week, whether it was overnight or a couple of hours. Sometimes my hair would thank me for it, but I am going to have to come up with the best moisturizer for my hair and to baggy with. Sometimes after baggying, my hair would be so stiff and hard. Remember, my blog isn't an informative blog. Mine is more of trial and error. LOTS and LOTS of errors, lol. Back to baggying, I failed miserably as far as my goal. But I am willing to try again, sometime in the future.

Tomorrow will be June, and I am ready for a fresh start. I am ready for new goals. It took me all of May to think of the best goals for this month, and I believe that I have found the best two for me:

-Hot oil treatment pre-poos with every wash
-Use up two large bottle products

I have hoarded products, thanks to my new hobby of extreme couponing (follow me on instagram for my couponing experiences @enduring_ego1920). At first, I was  thinking that keeping a stock of conditioners on top of conditioners would be great. I mean, I do it with tissue, paper towels, toothpaste, dishwashing liquid and laundry detergent, lol. But, a lot of you may not know is that I am still at home with the parents, so my space (personal space) is extremely limited. Hoarding beauty products is not possible because of me extremely limited space. So my plan is to use up some things, so that I can an intimate stash. I have two gallon size shampoos, one gallon size conditioner, three litters of conditioner, about 16 bottles of 20 oz shampoo and conditioner, several spray bottles of shampoo, conditioner, ACV, Black Tea for rinses, diluted setting lotion, leave in conditioners, hot oil treatments and finally Hold Spray. Not to mention bottles of foam lotion, a litter bottle of setting lotion, big bottles of oils, small bottles of oils, moisturizers, heat protectants, the list goes on and on. I think that I am going to make it my goal this summer (from June 1st to August 1st) to use up 6 products. I honestly do not need  to buy anything else.

So, lets recap my goals:

June 1st-June 30th goals
-Hot Oil Treatment Pre-poo's with everywash
-Use up two large products

June 1st - August 1st
-Use up 6 products

I am going to have a little help. My mother uses all of my product and does not contribute to anything. She doesn't even have her own personal products. She just uses mine. So, hopefully she can help me to get rid of some things also.

Additional information: I am just rambling here, but I have been doing a lot of thinking. June is actually my last month working with my current job. My last official day is going to be June 27th. By that time I should be about five to six weeks post and not looking for a relaxer no time soon. I believe July will be a flexi-rod month. Not only will I be looking for jobs, but interviews are possible. I believe that flexi-rods are appropriate enough hairstyles for interviews. At least, I will not be tempted to flat-iron my hair. I am also going this stretch with no use of direct heat. My next relaxer is aimed for August. I have been saying it for months and months, BUT I am hoping that this next relaxer will put me APL where I can clearly see it for myself.

Well, ladies, I have wrote enough. I will catch you at the next post. Hopefully, you will find my post tomorrow about my birthday hair, nothing too special. Also, I have a special #trendingtopic for my journey of instagram. My specific one is #est2008lexhhj. It should just be my pix on there. I post my most recent hairstyles on to instagram. Follow my journey on there as well as here!

Until next time!!!

    1. Lol thank you. I haven't even put no kind of dent in it. I realized that its not a conditioner I would keep in my stash, so I am hoping to get rid of it before the end of the summer so that I can buy a gallon of shampoo and conditioner that I will use and benefit from.
