More Goals

Hello ladies. I decided to give myself about three challenges over this year. I believe these challenges will be beneficial to me in the future, kinda, lol. So, I am adding on the following challenges to add a lil bump into this new year.
First challenge, I am going to use black soap and only one other facial product for my skin. I believe that I have complicated it enough. I believe I am going to stick to black soap and a moisturizer. I am at the point in my facial reg where the more simple is the best for me.

Second challenge, I am going to drink water everday. I have yet to do that, lol. I know that I haven't had a drink of water all day today. That is sad. Water so beneficial to me. I believe that I can feel alot better if I am drinking more water. I will also NOT cheat with flavored water, lol.

Third challenge, I am going to pray and have more devotion. When I was in community college, I went to church more and I prayed more. Then, I also prospered more. I feel like I have lost my way somewhere here at my four year institution. Back then, I prayed alot, pretty much every night and I felt great as a person. I felt like I was able to wake up everyday and conquer the world. For the past three years, I haven't felt like that. So, this will all change in the new year.

Here are my challenges. I will try my best to check in every month, but this challenge will end December 24th. My ultimate goal is to have this stick and become a permanent thing in my life. Wish me luck!!!

Happy New Year and Hair Updates

Hello lovelies. I hope the new year was brought in with much love. I apologize for not blogging too much over the holidays. I am coping with my lost still and its hard not having him around. So...I am back and with a purpose. Its 2012, and I am claiming this year for me!!! I am graduating this year (finally). I am going to have hair down my back again. I am coming out of 2011 swinging. I am going to be serious this entire year. I have goals that I am trying to reach. To prevent a long blog, I am just going to give you a brief overview. My only new years resolution is to complete a goal list and its entirety. THAT IS IT. However, this list is long with many goals. I believe that I can do this. If I complete this list, it will be the only one I have ever completed. Graduating on there. Growing my hair to BSL is on there. A few more. What I am going to do is blog about me accomplishing each goal. I am hoping this will be a beautiful year. So, I am particpating in Longing 4 Length's Rollersetting Challenge. I have a couple of problems, though. 1, I do not have a hood dryer at school, so I have to work on purchasing one these in my spare time. 2, Because I do not have a hood dryer, I may have to go to bed with those hard magnetic rollers in my hair. Its like riding a horse while trying to go to sleep. However, I have DIY'ed a perfect bedtime roller. I have tried it out for the first time last night, and I slept like a baby. No tossing and turning. No rollers coming out. No sore head. And NO crimps in my hair. I will definitely have to put y'all on game by the next blog post. So, I am going to end it here, and Happy Growing!!!
