So I was cleaning up my room yesterday and saw a clean storage container full of rollers. So I was going through the rollers and found my salon sheers. I was in a trance. I stopped everything I was doing and went straight into the bathroom mirror and started trimming my hair. So I took off a minuscule amount, nothing that could me measure...until I saw my hair was uneven from my hair trying to grow out. So I trimmed it. Then I realized that my middle was thinner than the side ends. So I trimmed that. Then I realized that one side was a tad bit longer. So I trimmed that. I stepped back to exam everything and realized that I was two inches shorter. At first I was shocked at how much a ''trim'' had cost me. But when I looked closer my hair as a whole looked so much thicker without the thin ends. I mean they weren't that thin but with them gone, I feel awesome. I got my summer cut I guess and I cannot wait until it grows back because I am going to try my best to maintain this evenness and this thickness. So I am in love. I am going to flatiron my hair on June 1st so my hair can officially be surveyed in detail. Excited!!!!! Until next time!

Operation: OMI One month update!!!
So, yesterday made a month since I started really acting right. I have a goal, and by golly I want to reach it. My goal is still BSB before the end of the summer and I am excited to think that I can make it. I am going to try quite a few things this summer and I am going to do a few reviews on the things I try and use.
First thing that I am going to try is the Suave Keratin Line shampoo and conditioner for color treated and dry/frizzy hair. I am going to see what it can do as far as strengthening my hair. I will use that line this summer and report on that.
Another thing that I am going to try out is heat protectant of my choice. My birthday is next Friday. I may use it then or wait. I haven't decided yet.
Another thing I will try is a different relaxer. There is something about my hair that I cannot put my finger on that is causing it not to retain. I thought it was moisture, oil, protein, etc. I have been down the line, but I am going to see if my relaxer is too strong for my hair. SO I am going to experiment with an even milder relaxer.
That is just a few things. I will make sure I keep everyone updated.
As far as my update, my hair has gotten a smidge thicker. It has gotten where it takes more moisturizer to quench its thirst. I am trying to find a very reasonable balance with my hair where I will not get myself in a devastating bind. It has been months since I have had a trim. It looks like a I need one, but I will put that off until further notice. So, I will continue to do good by my hair and I will keep the updates coming. mwah!

My new length photo
Hello. So this is my hair. I apologize for it not being completely straight for an accurate measurement. However, I am hovering over BSB. My goal for the summer is to be full BSB by the first week in August. It will take lots of discipline and lots of research, but I see myself making it. I believe that it is appropiate goal considering the time. So here is my starting photo for my summer challenge. Wish me luck as I reach my goal. Mwah!
Have You Been On My Page Lately?????
SO...if you have noticed on my blog, I am officially a COLLEGE GRADUATE. It is a club that I am so honored to be apart of. This was a hard battle, but my degree proves that it is acheiveable.
So, I did a relaxer the day before graduation. In all honesty, I do not know what my hair length is. I am currently under the dryer now DC'ing. I am going to roller set my hair, but I am curious to know what my hair length is. I am afraid that I didn't retain any length due to stress during finals. I was losing a lot of hair. I was sitting in class one day and pulled out hair by the handfuls. I wasn't even gripping my hair; I WAS RUNNING MY FINGERS THROUGH MY HAIR!!! So sad. I wanted to have a roller set for graduation; however, due to time constraint, I only blow dried on low and flat ironed in low. I rolled my hair only two and a half hours before I took them out. I had nice bump to it then, but as you can tell in the photo, my curls did not last. Next blog post will have a current length photo hopefully.

Quick talk
Hello. It has been a while since my last blog post. But I have been thinking of you all. So I have got confirmation that I am graduation from COLLEGE. I am excited. If you check my meter, I have three days until I graduate. It is an unbelievable feeling that I am accomplishing this milestone FINALLY. Also, my boyfriend is graduating with me...its even a bigger celebration.
My hair? Well, nothing new. I have been keeping it in a ponytail to avoid combing in it. I have really slipped on my biotin and my castor oil due to finals. But I am back on it ASAP. I am going to try to have a graduation style picture up ASAP. So be on the watch for that. Let me prepare for this beautiful day.
